Establishing Hope, Strengthening the Soul – Together

The Nezer Center is being established in memory of the late Major Netzer Simchi as a therapeutic and supportive center, aimed at providing emotional support, a safe environment, and tools to cope with life’s challenges. The center will operate inspired by Netzer’s legacy and vision – to give every person the opportunity to realize their inherent potential.

The Story of Netzer Simchi

Netzer Simchi, a native of Moshav Massad in the Lower Galilee, grew up in a warm and loving family environment that instilled in him values of giving, responsibility, and love for others. Netzer served as an armored corps officer in the IDF with the rank of Major, demonstrating leadership, courage, and deep camaraderie. During the "Iron Swords" war, Netzer fell in battle while defending the State of Israel and its values.

Together with his wife, Coral, Netzer dreamed of establishing a therapeutic center to provide solutions for at-risk youth and families in need of support, driven by the belief that every person deserves an equal opportunity.

The Vision of the Center

The Nezer Center will be established as a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for anyone facing emotional, personal, or social challenges, including:

At-risk children and teenagers
Discharged soldiers coping with post-trauma
Adults and families in need of emotional support

The center aims to be a supportive and empowering anchor, providing practical tools to cope with life’s crises, strengthen personal resilience, and develop mental fortitude.

The Meaning of the Name "Netzer"

"Netzer" symbolizes a young branch that grows and renews itself, bringing hope and growth – just as the spirit of the late Netzer Simchi continues to inspire love, giving, and the strength to help others.

The Facility and Activities

Facility Details
The Nezer Center will be built with a total area of approximately 250 square meters on the allocated site in Moshav Massad, located in the serene and supportive environment of the Lower Galilee. This tranquil setting will provide a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors alike.

The center will include:

Four private therapy rooms – designated for individual emotional therapy, group sessions, and creative therapies such as art therapy, bibliotherapy, sports therapy, and drama therapy.
A spacious gathering hall – for empowerment workshops, seminars, and community activities.
A fully equipped kitchenette – to prepare light refreshments and support therapeutic activities.
Accessible restrooms – ensuring comfort for patients and visitors, with full accessibility compliance.
A central and convenient parking area – providing easy access for staff and visitors from across the region.
